Quizzes & Surveys Help

CC Home > Current Students Services > Distance Education Help >

Quizzes and surveys are tools that can help teachers assess what students know.  Quizzes are graded and surveys are anonymous and not graded.  When you enter the Quizzes and Surveys page you will see a list of quizzes that your teacher has created for the course.  Everything under the "Availability" column tells you when you should be able to take the quiz.  "Duration" tells you how long you have to take the quiz, once it is started.  The "Attempts" column tells you how many times you may take a quiz and the "Grade" column tells you what grade you received if you have already taken it.  If you click the "View class statistics for quizzes" and press "Go" you can see how your score compared to the rest of the class.  If you click on "View scores for quizzes" you can see how you have done on quizzes you have already completed.

Once a quiz has been started, the clock is running. Turning off the browser or shutting down the computer (intentionally or not) will not stop the clock.
