Adding a Course Module

Click on "Add Page or Tool" on your Navigation menu.  Choose "Content Module" from list of "Course Content Tools".  Enter a title for your course module.  Check where you want a link to your course module to appear.  If you check Navigation bar, a link will appear on your students Navigation menu.  If you check Organizer Page, an icon for the content module will appear on whichever Organizer page you specify.  Click "Add" to add this item to your course.

When the following page loads, click "Add content to Content Module".  The following options should appear:

Click on "Add files" under the heading "Edit Table of Contents" and press "Go".

Here you can choose a file from the list of Filenames and press "Add".  Please note the process below is greatly simplified if the files you want to use are already loaded into WebCT. You may wish to use WebDAV to simplify this process.

If the file you wish to use is not listed or if it is on your computer click "Browse".  This will take you to the File Manager.

If the file is already on WebCT, select it from the list of files and press "Pick".  If it is on your computer, press Upload.

Click on "Browse" to navigate to the file on your hard drive.  After choosing a file, press "Upload".  Click on "Pick" to add this file to the list of files available for you to add to your course module. 

Select it in the list under File Names and press "Add".

Congratulations!  If all went well you have now added a file to the course module.
