Commonly Asked Questions

Q: How much do the services at Counseling & Student Development Center (CSDC) cost?
A: Almost every service is free to Casper College students and employees. Some of the testing we do such as the CLEP and GED cost money but our basic services (counseling, advising, accommodative services) are all free.

Q: How do I make an appointment and how long will it take to see a counselor?
A: You can either call (268-2366) or come in (Administration Building Room 112) to make an appointment.

Q: What happens at the first appointment?
A: We call our first appointment an intake. You will meet with a staff member of the CSDC  to see if your concerns and questions can be handled at that time. If you and the staff member decide that further exploration is needed, you will be assigned to a counselor to further help you with your concerns.

Q: What are the hours of the CSDC office?
A: During the regular school year our hours are 8am-5pm Monday through Friday and Thursday nights from 5:30pm-9pm (by appointment only). During the summer, we are open from 7:30am-4:30pm Monday through Friday.
