Hathaway Scholarships at Casper College

The State of Wyoming has established a generous scholarship program that will, for students who meet certain requirements, more than cover the entire cost of tuition at Casper College!

Plus, if you still have unmet need, as determined by your Financial Aid application (FAFSA), you may qualify for even more scholarship funding through this new program.

The scholarships, which bear the name of former Wyoming Governor Stan Hathaway, can be used at Casper College, other Wyoming Community Colleges, or the University of Wyoming. The first eligible students will be from the high school graduating class of 2006.

• There are two main types of Hathaway Scholarships:
• Merit Awards between $800 and $1600 per semester are available to high school graduates who are Wyoming residents and meet certain academic requirements.
• Need Awards above and beyond the Merit Awards are available to those with unmet financial need.

You don’t even have to wait to find out if you’re qualified. Just check the requirements on these pages and see if you’ll qualify and how much you may get. That makes planning for Casper College much easier for students and parents.

Although some procedures for this exciting new opportunity are still being finalized, it’s not too early to get started for next semester at Casper College!
