Casper College’s Manufacturing Technology certificate and degree programs focus on high-tech manufacturing by producing products to exacting industrial standards utilizing current manual and computer-aided machine tool technology. Manufacturing Technology graduates are well prepared to set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, mills and grinders to make or repair precision parts. This career may also include CNC programmers who write the computer program that operates automated machines. Students graduating from this program can work in small family-owned shops or at large manufacturing facilities.
