These scholarships are awarded to full-time, degree-seeking students who are enrolled in the Social & Behavioral Sciences division which includes: Addictionology, Anthropology, Criminal Justice, Economics, Education, History, International Studies, Para-educator, Para-legal, Political Science, Pre-Law, Psychology, and Sociology/Social Work.
All scholarships are subject to the Scholarship Guidelines.
Alpha Delta Kappa Scholarship, Beta Chapter-Casper - Graduate of a Natrona County High School District No. 1. Education Major with a 3.00 GPA. Number and value of awards varies. Special application required. Deadline is open.
Charlma Brown Scholarship - Awarded to Casper College students with a legal assistant major. Financial need will be a consideration. Contact the Casper College Students Financial Assistance Office for additional information. Applications are available in early September.
Legal Support & Professionals Scholarship - The Legal Support Scholarship is available to Casper College students majoring in any legal related field, including, but not limited to, administration of justice, legal secretary, and paralegal. Contact the Casper College Student Financial Assistance Office for more information and applications. Applications are available early April.
Charlene Davis Outstanding Student Educator Award - Available to Casper College sophomore education majors (Early Childhood, Elementary, Secondary). Special application is required. Contact the Casper College Student Financial Assistance Office for more information and applications. Applications are available in early March.
Minerva Landers Scholarship - Awarded to non-traditional, degree-seeking students attending at least half-time (6 credits) with an overall GPA of 2.0. Preference is given for math education majors, then math or education majors. Applications are available mid-March from the Casper College Student Financial Assistance Office.
Natrona County Classroom Teachers Education Association - Available to education majors. Valued at $200 each. Contact your guidance counselor at NCHS or KWHS for application and deadline information.
Natrona Rebekah Lodge No. 13 Educational Fund - Available to part-time students (6-11.5 hours) in human services or health care area. Valued at $100. Special application is required. Applications are available October 1st of each year from the Casper College Student Financial Assistance Office. Deadline is November/December.
Les Obert Scholarship - Available to criminal justice or related field major. Provided by Casper College Criminal Justice Club. Valued at $75. Special application is required. Applications are available in early September and March through the Casper College Student Financial Assistance Office.
Phi Delta Kappa - Awarded to education major. Special application is required. Contact Clare Eastes, 307-268-2710 for application and deadline information.
Zula and Deryl Safford Scholarship (Private) - Donor intends to give two scholarships each in business (accounting majors preferred), agriculture, nursing and education. A financial need statement must be submitted. Applicant must be a Wyoming high school graduate, full-time Casper College student with a GPA of 3.0 or better. Applications are available the first of October and mid-March from the Casper College Student Financial Assistance Office.
Paul Stock Foundation-Transfer (Education) - Education major transferring to the University of Wyoming. Valued at $1,000. Application is available from the Dean's Office, College of Education, University of Wyoming, Laramie, WY, 82071- 3374.
Wyoming Peace Officers Association - Law enforcement or related field majors. Four awards are available up to $1,000 per year. Contact the Casper College Student Financial Assistance Office for more information and applications. Deadline to apply is July 31st.
