These scholarships are awarded to full-time, degree-seeking students who are enrolled in the Health Sciences Division which includes: Activities Professional, Dentistry, Medical Office, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Optometry, Pharmacy Technology, Phlebotomy, Radiography and Respiratory Therapy.

All scholarships are subject to the Scholarship Guidelines.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Wyoming Scholarship - Wyoming resident health-related major. Valued at $250 per semester (four semesters). Special application required. Applications are available early April from the Casper College Financial Assistance Office.

Fred and Joan Carr Nursing Scholarship - Contact the Casper College Students Financial Assistance Office for additional information. Applications available early September.

Mark Collins Nursing Scholarship - Casper College sophomore nursing majors. Preference given to male applicants, but female applicants will be considered if no male meets the minimum requirements. Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.50. Contact the Casper College Students Financial Assistance Office for additional information. Applications are available early March.

Hester Currence Dowler Health Sciences Scholarship - Applicants for this scholarship must have been accepted into one of the health science program's professional curriculum to be considered for this scholarship. In addition, applicants must be in their second year of the program with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75 and a 3.25 in their professional coursework and have the desire to practice their profession in the state of Wyoming. Contact the Casper College Students Financial Assistance Office in early February for an application.

Ron Lund Scholarship - Radiography majors. One freshman, one sophomore. Full-time, in-state applicants considered. Contact the Medical Radiography Program, 307-268-2587. Applications are available early March.

Natrona Rebekah Lodge No. 13 Educational Fund - Available to part-time students (6-11.5 hours) in human services or health care area. Valued at $100. Special application is required. Applications are available October 1st of each year from the Casper College Student Financial Assistance Office. Deadline is November/December.

Past Presidents' Parley, American Legion Auxiliary Scholarship - War veterans or children of war veterans. Natrona County sophomore nursing students. Value varies. Selected by the Past Presidents Parley. Special application required. Contact the Casper College Students Financial Assistance Office for additional information. Applications are available early March.

Henrietta M. Neighbor Pousada Scholarship - Available to non-Natrona County Casper College students majoring in the health sciences field. Financial need is a factor. Must reside outside of Natrona County at the time of submitting the application for the award. Contact the Casper College Student Financial Aid Office for more information. Applications are available early October.

Pythian Sisters of Wyoming - Awarded to nursing students who have graduated from one of the following high schools: Basin, Casper, Cheyenne, Hanna, Lander, Laramie, Moorcroft, Newcastle, Rawlins, Rock Springs, or Sheridan. Cumulative GPA of at least 2.5. Valued at $500. Special application is required. Inquire March 15th of each year at the Casper College Student Financial Assistance Office.

Fort Casper Chapter DAR & Edna R. Raymond Nursing Scholarship - Awarded to full-time Casper College students majoring in nursing. Contact the Health Science Chair, 307-268-2717, for more information. Deadline is open.

Zula and Deryl Safford Scholarship (Private) - The Donor intends to give two scholarships each in business (accounting majors preferred), agriculture, nursing and education. A financial need statement must be submitted. Applicant must be a Wyoming high school graduate, full-time Casper College student with a GPA of 3.0 or better. Applications are available the first of October and mid-March from the Casper College Student Financial Assistance Office.

Sara Suyematsu Memorial - Available to school nurses continuing their nursing education. Special application is required. Contact the Casper College Student Financial Assistance Office. Deadline is open.

Mary Wing Nursing Scholarship - Available to Casper College nursing majors from Weston County High School in Wyoming. Contact the Casper College Students Financial Assistance Office in early March for an application.
