The Life Sciences Division is made up of several departments: Agriculture, Biology, Medical Technology, Physical Education, Pre-Professional and Wildlife Management. All departments are arranged to meet the needs of the students who wish to begin and/or complete their formal education at Casper College.
Modern agriculture is a business and a science as well as a way of life. The faculty recognizes that it is as important to produce well-informed citizens as it is to prepare future farmers and ranchers for a changing world. .
The Biology department provides students with many opportunities including an Associate of Science degree in Biology, in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Technician, Nutrition, Pre-Physical Therapy or Wildlife Management, as well as, a certificate in Clinical Health Care Assistant. A group of dedicated faculty offer students the needed expertise to pursure a career in their field of interest.
The Physical Education department prepares students for transfer to higher level institutions, instilling the knowledge, values and skills necessary to promote a healthy lifestyle. The physical education major program offers areas of concentration in teaching, exercise science and health.
Casper College Pre-Professional Curricula affords students the training, language proficiency, background in liberal arts and social and behavorial science as well a the pre-professional courses needed to qualify for admission into their area of interest. Pre-Professional areas include: Pre-Law, Pre-Dentistry, Pre-Medicine, Pre-Occupational Therapy, Pre-Optometry, Pre-Pharmacy and Pre-Veterinary.
