They promote the free fl ow of energy throughout the nervous system and assist in the elimination of toxins and poisons from the joints and other body parts. The postures exert a benefi cial pressure on various glands and internal organs, flushing and stimulating them. Yoga is aerobic in its deep diaphragmatic breathing techniques and will help you be more mindful, more in touch with your body, and will help you become calmer and more focused in your daily tasks.
