The TAPP program began over 15 years ago as a need was identified for providing instructional assistants and librarians additional educational skills to assist in their daily interactions with children in the school district.
In April 2008, the BOCES board voted to discontinue funding for the TAPP program as of the end of the Spring 2008 semester. The BOCES board recently reviewed the program. While the board appreciates TAPP’s contributions to the school district, we have decided that the program has essentially fulfilled its purpose at this time.
Please be assured that the Para Educator Degree program as well as the Para Educator Certificate program will still be offered at Casper College. Students are encouraged to access financial aid and scholarships through Casper College to continue their educational pursuits. Your academic advisor is also available to assist you as well.
