March 1. There are still scholarship applications listed with later deadlines. Click on "APPLICATION" under the scholarship title.
Scholarships are listed both Alphabetically (below) and by Division Areas (to the right).  Majority of Casper College Scholarships are awarded on a full year basis. For those students who are just starting Casper College we encourage you to come into the Financial Assistance Office, in the Administration Building Room 114, to see if there are any single semester scholarships that maybe available.

Important:
All scholarships and grants have varied requirements to get and maintain the funding. Before you change your class schedule make sure you are speaking to the Financial Assistance Office to know how the changes may or may not effect your financial aid.

    Casper College Alumni Association offer seven scholarships for Casper College students. These include:

  • American Association of University Women Scholarships
    |
    APPLICATION CLOSED |
    The Casper Branch of AAUW will provide a scholarship to a woman applicant who has completed 24 hours toward a two-year degree at Casper College. The scholarship will be awarded upon the basis of academic standing and financial need. The recipient may reapply and receive up to two years of aid, based upon eligibility and achievement. Student must be a US. Citizen, Wyoming Resident, and full-time.


  • Art Scholarships
    |
    APPLICATION |
    Visual Arts Division Scholarships:
    Students must be declared art majors with a 3.0 or better GPA and a portfolio review.

    Visual Arts Activity Scholarships have a work component:
    Students must be declared art majors with a 2.0 or better GPA (3.0 or better GPA in Art classes), and a portfolio review;
    A standard tuition scholarship is available for in-state* art majors who: maintain full-time status (minimum of 12 hours); maintain a minimum 2.0 cumulative grade point average in academic classes and a 3.0 cumulative grade point average in art classes; perform 80 hours work per semester assigned by the designated art department supervisor.
    A half standard tuition scholarship is available for in-state* art majors who: maintain full-time status (minimum of 12 hours); maintain a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA in academic classes and a 3.0 cumulative GPA in art classes; perform 40 hours work per semester assigned by the designated art department supervisor.

    Note: Activity Scholarships are paid at the end of the semester after assigned work is completed. Fall scholarships are carried over to the spring semester after a grade and portfolio review.

  • Bennion, Des Family Scholarship

    The Des Bennion Family Scholarship will be awarded to a student that will be carrying at least 12 credit hours per semester (full-time student). Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.00 and be a resident of the state of Wyoming to be considered. No stipulation regarding major. In the need statement the applicant must address why there is a need for the scholarship in regards to attending college. In addition, the applicant must state what academic and professional goals they are pursuing. The Des Bennion Family Scholarship will be a book award in the amount of $250.00 per semester for both the fall and spring semester. Recipients of the award must earn 12 credit hours with a term G.P.A. of at least 2.50 for the fall semester to receive the scholarship for the spring semester.

  • Booth, Elvin & Jacque Scholarship

    The Elvin and Jacque Booth Scholarship will provide two scholarships each year, one to a high school graduate from Sublette County, preferably Pinedale High School, and one to a high school graduate from Fremont County, preferably Lander Valley High School. The scholarships will be available to freshman Casper College students attending full-time with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Any major is considered. Financial need is a factor. Deadline extended to June 2, 2008.

  • Brown, Charlma Scholarship

    The Charlma Brown Scholarship is available to Casper College students majoring in Paralegal Studies. Need will be a factor, and each applicant will be asked to submit a need statement. In the need statement the applicant must address why there is a need for the scholarship in regards to attending college.

  • Business and Professional Women's Club of Casper Scholarship

    APPLICATION CLOSED |

    The Business and Professional Women’s Club of Casper Scholarship is available to female Casper College students that are enrolled at least half-time (six or more credit hours per semester). Applicants must be Wyoming residents and have a current cumulative G.P.A. of 2.00 or higher to be considered. The scholarship is renewable for the spring semester if recipients attempt and earn at least six credit hours with a cumulative G.P.A. of 2.00 or higher for the fall semester in which the scholarship was received.

  • Carr, Fred & Joan

    The Fred and Joan Carr Nursing Scholarship will be awarded to a full-time Casper College Nursing student. Applicants must have a cumulative G.P.A. of at least 2.50 and be accepted into the Casper College Nursing Program to be considered for the scholarship. Need will be a factor, and each applicant will be asked to submit a need statement. In the need statement the applicant must address why there is a need for the scholarship in regards to attending college. In addition, applicants must state what academic goals and aspirations they are pursuing.

  • Carroll, Jeanette Scholarship

    The Jeanette Carroll Scholarship will be awarded to a non-traditional Casper College Student for two semesters.  The applicant must be non-traditional, have children, and be a full-time student (12 credit hours). A major criterion is that the student has significant financial need. There is no stipulation regarding major. To be eligible to receive the scholarship for the spring semester, the recipient needs to have earned a 2.5 g.p.a during the fall semester. Application deadline is June 6, 2008, return to Kim Byrd. 

  • Casper Service League

    APPLICATION CLOSED |
    The Casper Service League Scholarship will be awarded to an incoming degree-seeking, full-time freshman female student from Kelly Walsh High School or Natrona County High School. Applicant can be either traditional or non-traditional. Need will be a factor, and each applicant will be asked to submit a needs statement. In the needs statement the applicant must address why there is a need for the scholarship in regards to attending college. The student must have and maintain a minimum 2.5 G.P.A. in order to maintain the scholarship for both fall and spring semesters.

  • Casper Rotary Scholarship

    APPLICATION CLOSED |
    This scholarship, valued at $1,000 for full-time students (enrolled in at least 12 hours of course work per semester), is available to non-traditional students. Non-traditional students are those students that are not right out of high school and that have returned to college after a period of time of being out of school. One-half of the scholarship will be awarded during the fall semester and recipients of the scholarship must have a GPA of at least 2.50 after the fall semester to receive the second part of the award for the spring semester.

  • Central Wyoming Kennel Club

    APPLICATION |
    To be eligible for this scholarship, the applicant must be a Casper College graduate accepted into a school of veterinary medicine. Proof of acceptance into veterinary school is required.

  • Collins, Mark Nursing Scholarship

    APPLICATION CLOSED |
    The Mark Collins Nursing Scholarship will be awarded to a sophomore Casper College student majoring in nursing. Applicants must be sophomores and have a cumulative G.P.A. of at least 2.50 to be considered. In addition, students must write a letter indicating both why they have chosen the field of nursing and what their career goals are. Complete all parts of the application. Preference will be given to male applicants, but female applicants will be considered if no male meets the minimum requirements for the scholarship.

  • Corporal Jason Corbett Memorial

    The Corporal Jason Corbett Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to a Casper College sophomore student who graduated from Kelly Walsh High School or attended Kelly Walsh and then obtained their G.E.D. The student may be either full or part time and there is no stipulation regarding major. Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.0 and must maintain a 2.0 either for the semester or cumulatively. In addition, the applicant must state what academic and professional goals they are pursuing.

  • Curry, Peggy Simpson Scholarships

    The Peggy Simpson-Curry Scholarship will be awarded to a Casper College student interested in creative writing. Applicants must have a G.P.A. of at least 2.5 and have a minimum of 24 college credit hours. A writing sample needs to be included with the application.

  • Decker Auto Glass

    Open to all handicapped students who are enrolled as degree seeking students at Casper College.



  • Division Scholarships
    |
    APPLICATION | ONLINE APPLICATION |
    Division scholarships are awarded to full-time, degree-seeking students who are enrolled in one of the college's eight divisions. A faculty committee in each division selects recipients. Applicants must have at least a cumulative 3.0 GPA to be considered. The award is $500 per semester, ($1,000 per year for two years). To retain this scholarship you must attempt and complete at least 12 credit hours and earn a GPA of at least 2.5 each semester. Funding for Division Scholarships are provided by these Generous Donors . March 1 priority deadline, after that date students placed on alternate list.

  • Energy Laboratories, INC. Scholarship

    APPLICATION |
    This scholarship is available to Full-time Sophomores with a 2.5 or better GPA who are majoring in Chemistry, computer science, electronics technology, environmental science, geology, mathematics, engineering, physics, and water quality technology. Applicants must have graduated from high school. Financial need and involvement in activities/clubs will be considered. A three paragraph essay describing the applicant's goals and career aspirations is required, with a copy of current transcripts.

  • Eshelmen, Donald O. Scholarship

    APPLICATION |
    Wyoming Air Corporation through the Casper College Foundation periodically receives scholarship funds from the family of Donald O. Eshelman. Casper College students are encouraged to apply for these funds as they become available. Applicants must have a 3.00 GPA. in aviation courses and a minimum 2.00 GPA. overall. The applicant must be flying consistently and must be showing progress toward their aviation goals. Applicants must submit a three paragraph letter stating goals and how the scholarship will be of help.


  • Eshelmen, Irene Scholarship

    The Irene Eshelman Scholarship will be awarded to a current Casper College student who has need. Applicant must submit a statement of need.

  • Frech, Dick Scholarship

    APPLICATION |
    Open to all students who have a disability and are enrolled as degree seeking students at Casper College. Students must be enrolled in 12 credit hours and meet the Federal Financial guidelines of a 2.00 GPA. and a 67% completion ratio for credit hours attempted. Applicants must have proof of a disability.

  • Galbreath, B.E. Memorial

    The B. E. Galbreath Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to full time Casper College students, one to a man and one to a woman. Must be a Wyoming resident and have a current cumulative GPA. of 3.00 to be considered. Financial need will be a primary consideration.

  • Galles, Ann Scholarship

    The Ann Galles Scholarship is to available to a traditional or non-traditional Casper College student who has demonstrated need.

  • General Education Development (GED), Freshmen Scholarship

    APPLICATION |
    Available to freshmen who hold a high school equivalency diploma (GED) with a score of 550 or better. For more information please contact the Casper College Testing Services.

  • Grantham, Elaine Scholarship
    |
    APPLICATION |
    The Elaine Grantham Scholarship will be awarded to a sophomore level student who is currently a member of the Casper College Contemporary Singers (“Triple C”). Financial need may be a determining factor; therefore, a statement of need must be completed by the applicant. In addition, statements of “Academic Goals” and “Musical Aspirations” must be submitted. A cumulative GPA. of 2.50 is required for consideration. The Grantham award will be granted at the beginning of each fall and spring semester. Deadline is October 15.

  • Hathaway Scholarship

    APPLICATION |
    There are two main types of Hathaway Scholarships:
    Merit Awards between $800 and $1600 per semester are available for 2006 and future high school graduates who are Wyoming residents and meet certain academic requirements. Note: Graduates before 2006 are not eligible.
    Need Awards above and beyond the Merit Awards are available to those with unmet financial need.

  • Hamlet, Dale & Marguerite Scholarship

    APPLICATION CLOSED |
    The Dale and Marguerite Hamlet Scholarship will be awarded to a Casper College student that will be carrying at least 12 credit hours. Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.00 to be considered. No stipulation regarding major, only that the student be committed to making reasonable progress toward the degree they are seeking. Need is a consideration. Applicants must write a three paragraph statement that addresses their educational goals and objectives.

  • Hankins, Josephine Memorial
    |
    APPLICATION |
    Available to blind or handicapped students who graduated from a Wyoming high school. Must be either eighty-five percent blind or physically handicapped (having suffered a seventy-five percent loss of function of one limb, fifty percent loss of function of two limbs, or twenty-five percent loss of function in all limbs).

  • Harrod, Lawrence & Bonnie Scholarship

    APPLICATION CLOSED |
    The Lawrence and Bonnie Harrod Scholarship is available to a full-time, non-traditional student, 45 years of age or older. There is no stipulation as to major. The amount of the scholarship is in-state tuition and books.

  • Henry Family Agriculture Scholarship

    APPLICATION CLOSED |
    The Henry Family Agriculture Scholarship is available to full-time, degree-seeking Casper College students with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher. Two awards are made each year: one to a student majoring in agriculture and one to a rodeo participant from Casper College.

  • Hoffman, Wilma Scholarship

    The Wilma Hoffman Scholarship will be awarded to a non-traditional student that will be carrying at least 6 credit hours. Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.00 to be considered. No stipulation regarding major, only that the student be committed to making reasonable progress toward the degree they are seeking. Need will be a factor, and each applicant will be asked to submit a need statement. In addition, the applicant must state what academic goals they are pursuing.

  • Hudson, Don WWQ PCA Memorial

    This scholarship, valued at $150.00 per semester, is available to students majoring in the Water Quality Technology Program. Applicants must have accumulated 15 hours in the Water Quality Technology Program at Casper College. In addition, applicants must be residents of Wyoming to be considered.

  • International Association of Emergency Managers Scholarship

    The International Association of Emergency Managers established the IAEM Scholarship Program to further the education of students studying the field of emergency management or related field. The mission of the program is to assist the profession by developing students with the intellect and technical skills to advance and enhance emergency management or related field.   • Irwin, Charles G. & Ruth C. Scholarship

    Scholarships are made available each year to graduates of an accredited high school in Converse County, the Irwins’ home county. The primary criterion for selection is academic proficiency. Financial need is considered, particularly in determining the amount of each award. There are no restrictions on the applicant's anticipated field of study. First preference is given to those students that will graduate in May/June prior to the beginning of the Fall semester. Selection will be made without regard to sex, religion, ethic origin, political credo, or any other such factor. If selected, the recipient must be a classified, degree seeking, full time, student at Casper College during the period of the award.

  • Kawi, Francis & Elizabeth scholarship

    The Francis and Elizabeth Kawi Scholarship will be awarded to full-time Casper College sophomore students with a cumulative G.P.A. of at least 3.00. To be a full-time student you must complete at least 12 credit hours per semester. Students are considered to be sophomores after completing at least 30 hours of college course credits. Applicants must demonstrate progress towards a degree to be eligible for the award. In addition, applicant must state what academic goals they are pursuing.

  • Kennedy, Jacob– Milliken, Emily Scholarship

    APPLICATION CLOSED |
    The Jacob Kennedy – Emily Milliken Scholarship will be awarded to one Natrona County High School graduating senior and one Kelly Walsh High School graduating senior that plans to attend Casper College full-time (at least twelve credits a semester). Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.50 and be eligible for the Hathaway Scholarship. There is no stipulation regarding major, only that the student be committed to making reasonable progress toward the degree they are seeking. In addition, the applicant needs to attach a one page essay describing his or her academic and career goals.

  • Landers, Minerva B Scholarship

    The Minerva B. Landers Scholarship will be awarded to a non-traditional Casper College student carrying at least 6 credit hours and have a cumulative G.P.A. of at least 2.00. Non-traditional is defined as students not just out of high school, must be starting college or returning to college after being out of school, in the workforce, etc. Preference will be given to (but not limited to): 1. Math Education majors first, then Math or Education. 2. Former Natrona County School District student (either graduate or GED). The scholarship award is for two semesters (one school year). To retain the scholarship, recipients must maintain a cumulative G.P.A. 0f 2.00 or higher. Student cannot receive the award for more than two years.

  • Lewis, Billy Scholarship

    The Billy Lewis Scholarship has been used to help Casper College students who have been residents of Wyoming for at least five years.

  • Lowe, Stanley R. & Anne Family Scholarship

    The R. Stanley and Anne Lowe Family Scholarship will be awarded to a non-traditional Casper College nursing student that will be carrying at least 12 credit hours (full-time student). Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.5 and be a sophomore. Need is a factor. The applicant must submit a two paragraph essay on career goals and objectives.

  • Lund, Ron Scholarship

    APPLICATION |
    Applicants for this scholarship must be full-time in-state residents. In addition, applicants must be entering or currently enrolled in the radiography program at Casper College with a cumulative G.P.A. of at least 3.00. The goal of the recipient of this scholarship must be to achieve a degree in radiography. Recipients can reapply for the scholarship their sophomore year. Please complete all the questions below and include a statement of academic and professional goals and aspirations.  Application deadline is July 1, 2008.

  • Martin, Mryon W. Scholarship

    APPLICATION CLOSED |
    The Myron W. Martin Scholarship will be awarded to a current full-time Casper College student majoring in Agriculture. Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.00. Need will be a consideration and applicants must submit a statement of need.

  • McMurry Grant-in-Aid

    Available to single-parents enrolled in at least 3 credits at Casper College. Financial need is a factor. Contact Kim Byrd, 307-268-2255, for application and deadline information.

  • Meridian Trust Scholarship
    | APPLICATION CLOSED|
    Either applicant or member of the applicant's immediate family must be a member of Meridian Trust Federal Credit Union. Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Applications are due by 5:00 pm Friday, May 16, 2008.

  • Milek, Bob Scholarship
    |
    APPLICATION CLOSED |
    The Bob Milek Scholarship will be awarded to a wildlife management or biology major. Applicants must be Wyoming residents and have a G.P.A. of 3.0.

  • Miller, Scott Alan Memorial
    | APPLICATION CLOSED |
    The Scott Alan Miller Scholarship will be awarded to a Casper College student who is either full-time or part-time and who has financial need.    No stipulation regarding major, only that the student be committed to making reasonable progress toward the degree they are seeking.  This is a two semester award.  In order to be eligible for the spring semester, the student must have received a 2.0 g.p.a. for the fall semester.
     
  • Milliken, Millie Scholarship

    APPLICATION CLOSED |
    The Millie Milliken Scholarship will be awarded to highly-motivated single mothers attending Casper College full-time. To be eligible for consideration, students must be pursuing an academic degree in order to be fully employed. Applicants will need to submit a three paragraph essay detailing their goals and objectives. In addition, the recipients of the scholarship must be United States citizens.

  • Music Activity Scholarship- Casper College

    APPLICATION |
    Students must have a 2.0 GPA or better and be endorsed by a music teacher.
    Full tuition Award: full time status (12 or more credits) with a 2.0 GPA or better in academic classes and a 2.5 GPA in music classes and perform in two Music department ensembles as prescribed by faculty.
    Half Tuition Award: full time status (12 or more credits) with a 2.0 GPA or better in academic classes and a 2.5 GPA in music classes. Deadline extended to October 15, 2008.


  • Musser, Lou Scholarship

    The Lou Musser Scholarship is available to Journalism majors. Applicants will need to submit a three paragraph essay detailing their goals and objectives.

  • Nagel, Family Book Award

    The Nagel Family Book Award will be awarded to a current Casper College student with financial need to assist with the purchase of books and supplies. Applicant must have a financial need base and enrolled in 6 or more credit hours.

  • Neiberger, Lily A Scholarship

     |
    The Lily A. Neiberger Scholarship will be awarded to a Casper College student who is working toward a degree in Social Work or Addictionology.  To be eligible for the scholarship, the student needs to be taking at least 12 credit hours per semester (full-time student), have an overall 2.5 g.p.a., and have financial need.  This scholarship is awarded for two semesters.  In order to receive the award for the spring semester, the student must have obtained at least a 2.5 g.pa. during the fall semester.
     
  • Neiberger, Lyle J. Scholarship

    The Lyle J. Neiberger Scholarship will be awarded to a Casper College student who is working toward a degree or certificate in one of the Trades and Technology programs. To be eligible for the scholarship, the student needs to be taking at least 12 credit hours per semester (full-time student), be a Wyoming resident and have financial need.  This scholarship is awarded for two semesters.  In order to receive the award for the spring semester, the student must have obtained at least a 2.0 g.pa. for the fall semester. 
  • Neighbor-Pousada, Henrietta Scholarship

    Applicants for this scholarship must be Casper College students studying within the health care area to be considered for this scholarship. In addition, applicants must be non-Natrona County students with a cumulative G.P.A. of at least 3.00 to be considered and enrolled in 6 or more credit hours. The goal of the recipient of this scholarship must be to achieve a degree in the health care profession. Financial need will be a consideration. Please complete all the questions below and include a statement of your goals and aspirations.
     
  • Nemitz, Rick and Marchant, Bob Scholarship

    This scholarship is open to all Casper College students who are Wyoming residents. The primary criteria used in selecting recipients include: financial need, academic proficiency, and general worthiness. One scholarship will be awarded for an amount up to (but not to exceed) standard tuition and fees for two semesters. Nemitz and Marchant Scholarship Fund was established by the Oil, Chemical, and Atomic Workers Union Local 2-124 to preserve the memory of Rick Nemitz and Bob Marchant. Rick and Bob were employees of the Amoco refinery in Casper. Both men were killed in separate work-related accidents in December of 1989.

  • Nichols, Dorothy Scholarship

    The Dorothy Nichols Scholarship is available to a full-time, sophomore, degree-seeking female Casper College student with a business major and a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher. Need is a factor.

  • Nichols, Sharon Scholarship

    The Sharon Nichols Scholarship will be awarded to a Casper College student that will be carrying at least 12 credit hours per semester (full-time student). Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.50 and be a resident of the state of Wyoming to be considered. Applicants must be majoring in either Diesel Power or Journalism. Need will be a factor, and each applicant will be asked to submit a need statement.

  • Nunn Family Scholarship

    The Nunn Family Scholarship will be awarded to Casper College students that have graduated from Natrona County High School and that will be carrying at least 12 credit hours (full time status). Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.00 to be considered. No stipulation regarding major, only that the students be committed to making reasonable progress toward the degree they are seeking. In the need statement the applicant must address why there is a need for the scholarship in regards to attending college. In addition, the applicant must state what academic goals they are pursuing.

  • Obert, Les Scholarship

    The Les Obert Scholarship, is available to Casper College students who are majoring in criminal justice, law enforcement, or corrections. Students entering the Administration of Justice program at UW/CC are eligible to apply only if they are beginning their first semester of that program. Applicants must have attended Casper College for at least one semester, earned at least 12 credit hours, and have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.00. Two scholarships will be awarded each school year.

  • P.E.O Chapter AC Scholarship For Women

    The P.E.O. Chapter AC Scholarship will be awarded to a Casper College student that is a woman and will be carrying at least 12 credit hours per semester (full-time student).     The Scott Shafer Memorial Aviation Scholarship will be awarded to a Casper College student who wants a career in aviation. Applicants must carry at least 12 credit hours per semester (full-time student) and have already received their private pilot license. Applicants must also have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.50. Need will be a factor, and each applicant will be asked to submit a statement of need which tells of their need for financial assistance in regards to attending college. Applicants must also submit a three paragraph essay describing their goals and objectives. Award is for two semesters. G.P.A. must be maintained to be eligible for second semester.

  • Sneesby Family Scholarship

    The Sneesby Family Scholarship is a $2,500 scholarship, with half awarded each semester. The scholarships will be awarded to full-time Casper College students who graduated from a Platte County high school. Applicants must have a cumulative high school G.P.A. of 2.50 or higher to be considered. To retain the scholarship for the spring semester, the recipients must maintain a college GPA. of 2.50 with twelve credit hours earned for the fall semester. Recipients must apply again in the spring to be considered for the next year. There is no stipulation regarding major. Applicants are required to state the academic goals they are pursuing.

    The Van Burgh Family Scholarship will be awarded to a full or part-time traditional or non-traditional incoming freshman Casper College student. Applicants must have a high school GPA no higher than 2.50 or a G.E.D. to be considered. No stipulation regarding major, only that the student be self-motivated, goal-oriented, and committed to making reasonable progress toward the degree they are seeking. In the need statement the applicant must address why there is a need for the scholarship in regards to attending college.     The Casper College Veteran's Scholarship was created in memory of Wyoming service members who have lost their lives while serving their country.  The Scholarship is open to any full-time (enrolled in 12 credit hours or more), degree-seeking Casper College student with a cumulative G.P.A of 2.0 or higher.  There is no stipulation regarding major or financial need.  The Scholarship will be awarded by a lottery drawing.

  • Walleye's Unlimited, North Platte Scholarship

    This scholarship is available to Casper College students who are majoring in a Life Science field with priority given to students studying Wildlife Management as majors. Applicants must have at least a 3.0 grade point average either out of high school, if they are a freshman, or in their collegiate studies, if a sophomore. If selected for this scholarship, the recipient must be enrolled as a full-time student at Casper College during the year the scholarship is awarded. An essay of a minimum of three paragraphs describing the applicant’s goals and career aspirations is required, as is a copy of the applicant’s current transcripts. One $400.00 scholarship will be awarded each Fall and Spring semester. Deadline extended to June 2, 2008.

  • Weaver, Shirley Lee McCamly Scholarship

    The Shirley Lee McCamly Weaver Scholarship will be awarded to highly-motivated, degree-seeking female students. No stipulation regarding major, however preference will be given to students pursuing a degree in architecture or a related discipline. Scholarships will be awarded to full-time and part-time students. Applicants will need to submit a three paragraph essay detailing their goals and objectives. In addition, the recipient of the scholarship will be asked to be familiar with the W. L. McCamly family’s history and do a small research paper regarding women’s and other social issues during and since Shirley’s lifetime.

The primary criterion for selection is academic proficiency, but involvement in activities/clubs will be considered.     The purpose of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to nursing students. The Selection Advisory Committee considers a student's academic record and achievement, as well as a willingness to work in a nursing capacity in Wyoming after the completion of education. Proof of acceptance must accompany the application. Applicants should have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA. Number and Duration of Awards: Up to $4,000 will be awarded each year to one or more recipients. A recipient may be enrolled as either a full-time or part-time student throughout each term. Summer school attendance is not required, but would be considered a plus. Deadline is April 28, 2008, however applications will be accepted throughout the year.
